Amsterdam- Fair Flowers Fair Plants and MPS ( Environment Program Horticulture ) have decided to join forces. These two organisations joined their forces to bring a strong output in sustainability for Florists,Garden Centers, and the Consumers.
So far the sustainability-label is not such a succes. The main reason for this is their is no connection between supply and marketing . Both organisations hope this cooperation will bring 'sustainability' as the new norm for retailers by purchasing their flowers and plants. Both organisations aim for one thing and this is a better environment .
The participants , the growers , are able to label their goods and by this way make a recognizable 'sustainable' product.
